The Wonder Of It All
The ecstatic power of dance brings about transformative and healing experiences
With The Wonder Of It All, Daniel Linehan aims to evoke a state of wonder. Freed from the everyday and from social structures, five dancers surrender to memories, imagination and a total devotion to movement. Their dance explores ecstatic states in which they connect with their ancestors and nature. The audience is seated around the dancers, and is taken on a journey along ancient Dionysian mysteries and modern day techno parties. It’s not an escape from reality but an invitation to embrace new possibilities.
The Wonder Of It All allows us to rediscover the sensitivity and connectedness we have lost along the way – more urgent than ever in times of polarization.

Relaxed performances?
The performance on October 3 is a relaxed performance. Those are performances that loosen the classic rules of a theatre venue: fewer stimuli, subdued lighting, and an open atmosphere where it's perfectly okay to move or make sounds. This is how we aim to make our performances more accessible to a wider audience. You can read more about our relaxed performances and accessibility via this link.
