If the number Pi reminds you of high school math trauma and scary associations, we have the perfect antidote. Heleen Van Haegenborgh turned the number into a fascinating composition for percussion and electronica, with sizzling patterns and rich sound combinations. Squaring the Circle is her very sensuous musical answer to another Pi: an artwork by Johan De Wilde, whose coloured vertical line form the visual backdrop for the concert's rhythmic variations and exciting sound fantasy.
