Jeroen Uyttendaele - Tafelmanieren
Sound artist Jeroen Uyttendaele worked on his new installation performance Tafelmanieren in STUK. In the performance, he lets three tables sound via self-made speakers and resonators made of metal, crystal and ceramics. The resonators' sounds are picked up by microphones and sent through the same objects again. This creates an ever evolving soundscape of feedback and resonance.

Farida Amadou
Farida Amadou is one of the most exciting young voices in the world of free improvisation and experimental music. She plays the bass guitar like no one else: unpolished, with a metallic timbre and a focus on rhythm and texture. In recent times she has been experimenting more with effects and electronics, resulting in layered, harmonic drones.

Geoffrey Burton & Sarah Yu Zeebroek
Guitar player Geoffrey Burton and artist Sarah Yu Zeebroek are life partners, and have now decided to make their first performance together. They investigate how Burton's wayward guitar music can blend with the surrealistic visual language of Zeebroek. The musical compositions come from Burton's debut album Me Te Podia, released in 2020. Zeebroek starts from several drawings and shapes that she manipulates with overhead projectors.

Pak Yan Lau - Bakunawa
Brussels-based musician Pak Yan Lau brings a part of her new ensemble work Bakunawa. Bakunawa is a feared dragon from Filipino culture, which is told to be scared off by loudly banging pots and pans. It inspired Pak Yan Lau to an enchanting, repetitive composition for a wide array of instruments such as toy pianos, metal tubes and harp. In collaboration with STUK, Bakunawa will be released in album form on the Cortizona label in 2021.
