American composer claire rousay draws inspiration from personal experiences and everyday sounds: voicemails, simple actions, environmental field recordings, barely audible conversations. Swathed in swells of drone and half-remembered acoustic melodies, she uses these to create evocative soundscapes in which you discover new details with every listen. The poetry lies in the combination of storytelling and abstraction, familiarity and unkown, song and texture, foreground and background. Rousay has the gift of triggering personal memories and emotions in her audience. Her new album everything perfect is already here will be released in April 2022 by Shelter-Press, Félicia Atkinson's label. The record includes two stretched out compositions built around snippets of recordings of violin, harp and piano.

The Brussels-based vocalist, writer and artist Radio Hito performs delicate melodies with a flawless singing voice. Her Italian lyrics are based on existing poems. Combined with simple keyboard patterns and electronic elements, this produces a very distinctive style. Her latest album Voce Lillà was released by KRAAK in 2021. For her show at OPEK she invites side man Maoupa Mazzocchetti, who will enrich the live performance with colourful trumpet and electronica sounds.
