• Julia Reidy
(live)

“Reidy takes an idiosyncratic and emotionally expressive approach, making even the most ordinary gestures sound mutated and strange.” - Pitchfork

Julia Reidy is an Australian musician living in Berlin. What Reidy does with guitar and voice is completely unique: repetitive fingerpicking on 12-string guitar (in ‘just intonation’), haunting vocals with a touch of autotune, subtle electronic tones and effects. A warm bath that sounds at the same time alienating and futuristic. Reidy has already released quite a few albums on labels such as Editions Mego and Oren Ambarchi's Black Truffle, such as the latest, much acclaimed solo album World In World (2022). A new album has been announced for Fall 2023, which without doubt will be added to the canon of contemporary guitar classics.

• Lamina
(live)

Lamina is the moniker of French artist Clarice Calvo-Pinsolle. In Basque mythology, it is a half-human, half-animal spirit that dwells in the forest. Essentially a nocturnal creature, it lives in caves and close to water sources and creeks. In the same way, Lamina’s music is swampy and growling, a living and ever-evolving imaginary ecosystem. Textures, effects and field-recordings blend together in a simple manner creating these personal landscapes. Her first album Amalur was released in 2021 on Complex Holiday and her latest work Les Lignées was published on Mus Joutra.

Lamina is presented in collaboration with Overtoon.
