Young artists will give everything for applause. In Kein Applaus für Scheisse Florentina Holzinger and Vincent Riebeek are flirting with the limits of everything that is possible on stage, referring to the canon of 1970’s performance art. The result is a surprising portrait of contemporary pop culture’s rich tapestry: an intangible mixture of dance, trashy pop, theatre, roller skating interludes, acrobatics and performance. A choreography that constantly risks losing its balance when one of the two performers flagrantly tries to hog the stage for the closing applause.
