Tsar B is the musical alter ego of musician, producer and composer Justine Bourgeus. In her previous career, she played violin for indie bands like School Is Cool. With her solo alter ego Tsar B she weaves together electronic pop productions and a love for classical music and folk. The result is huge songs with passionate vocals, orchestral arrangements packed with strings and synths, Eastern influences and electronica infused rhythms.

In recent years, Bourgeus has met international acclaim, praised by household names such as Billboard, NME and The Fader. Her music bridges disciplines effortlessly, including film, dance and fashion. After her debut The Games I Played (2018) and the EP Unpaintable (2020) she collaborated with a.o. Alexander Chung, Oscar and the Wolf and Nova Twins. Last year, she brought to life the legendary cook books of Salvador Dalí in the dazzling concert film Les Diners de Gala. By now, Bourgeus is a popular film composer and producer for young talents.

The new Tsar B album To the stars, released in March 2023, is Bourgeus detachment from the past, a full surrender to the new adventure.
