Circles rotate. Whirling. Swirling. Round and round. On and on.
In DRRRAAI everything starts to spin. Dancers rotate on their axis and in the space. Following on from Schots en scheef, licht! and luid, their previous successful passages at STUK, Lies Cuyvers and Ciska Vanhoyland create a wordless dance performance about circular movements. Erki De Vries and Koen Brouwers, their trusted artistic companions, develop a playful backdrop of circles and rotating sculptures and a poetic soundscape that swirls through the space. Dance, music and sound take the audience into a virtuoso game of rotating patterns. A dizzying experience!
