Lea Bertucci (concert)

New York composer and improviser Lea Bertucci performs minimalist sound explorations with alto saxophone or bass clarinet. Haunting patterns, penetrating drones and whistling feedback characterize her music. She always enters into dialogue with the acoustics of the space in which she plays. Thus Bertucci will come for a few days in residence to create a performance tailored to the Studio. Her starting point is her audiovisual performance Projection/Reflection, in which a projector throws a beam of light on a reflective patch on the performer's back. This creates a fascinating reflection on the wall behind her.
