Geoffrey Burton & Sarah Yu Zeebroek
Guitar player Geoffrey Burton and artist Sarah Yu Zeebroek are life partners, and have now decided to make their first performance together. They investigate how Burton's wayward guitar music can blend with the surrealistic visual language of Zeebroek. The musical compositions come from Burton's debut album Me Te Podia, released in 2020. Zeebroek starts from several drawings and shapes that she manipulates with overhead projectors.

Pak Yan Lau - Bakunawa

Brussels-based musician Pak Yan Lau brings a part of her new ensemble work Bakunawa. Bakunawa is a feared dragon from Filipino culture, which is told to be scared off by loudly banging pots and pans. It inspired Pak Yan Lau to an enchanting, repetitive composition for a wide array of instruments such as toy pianos, metal tubes and harp. In collaboration with STUK, Bakunawa will be released in album form on the Cortizona label in 2021.

PARTNERS
Femke and James are Partners. The Bonnie & Clyde of the Belgian underground take you on a dusky trip through a world of stories, sounds and movement. In 2019 they opened Artefact Sound with their typical electronic sound, now they return to STUK with an acoustic performance that hints at cabaret. Take it away, Daisy!

NAH a.k.a. "Never to be played again."
